ABOUT TEAM HERRO

Based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and founded by NBA guard Tyler Herro, Team Herro is an elite Nike youth basketball program with multiple teams at all age groups that include some of the top prospects in the country.

The organization is supported by the T. Herro Foundation, which is dedicated to bettering youth through impactful experiences in the Miami and Milwaukee areas.

Known for his unapologetic confidence and explosive shooting abilities, Tyler Herro is by far one of the most exciting players to watch in basketball. The versatile scoring guard broke out in 2021-2022, averaging a career-best 20.7 points per game and earning Sixth Man of the Year honors making him the first player in Miami Heat history to win the award. During the 2020 NBA Playoffs, Herro had one of the most prolific rookie playoff performances in NBA history. He not only set the league record for most points scored by a rookie in a Conference Finals Game, but he also ignited the Miami Heat offense to help the team win the Eastern Conference Championship and move on to the NBA Finals.

Born in 2000, Herro became the youngest player to ever start in a Finals game. A rising star in the league, Herro quickly garnered national recognition as a relentless playmaker in clutch situations and was named to the 2019-20 NBA All-Rookie Second Team. Prior to entering the league, Herro was arguably the most valuable player at the University of Kentucky where he was named SEC Newcomer of the Year by the Associated Press. Before his collegiate days, Herro was a star local player in Wisconsin playing at Whitnall High School—where his number 14 jersey was retired in 2023.
